Our Story
Our Story:
We’ll admit it- we didn’t know what we were doing when we went through the college recruiting process at 16. We didn’t ask the right questions or know what we needed to thrive at the next level of competition. Because of this, we (and countless others) were faced with issues of poor team culture, mismatched coaching styles, and lack of administrative support. Our collegiate careers were not what we thought they would be.
Fortunately, we had a second chance at going through the athletic recruiting process to use our final years of eligibility as graduate students. This time, we had more experience and insight to ask the right questions and thoroughly evaluate what we needed in an athletic program. We realized the mistakes that we made in our recruiting processes as high schoolers and noticed the lack of free information available. This experience of navigating the athletic recruiting process led to the creation of RecruitHer.
Our Mission:
We want to demystify the athletic recruiting process to empower young women to make informed decisions about their future athletic and professional careers. By offering blog content and recruiting consultations, our goal is to help young girls navigate the recruiting process and life as a student-athlete. RecruitHer’s content is written by former and current student-athletes. We hope that more young women have the chance to pursue college athletics and reap all the benefits that it has to offer.
Our Mission
RecruitHer aims to use current athletes’ experiences to empower young female athletes to pursue college athletics and to make recruiting decisions that will help them achieve their goals and gain life long skills. By offering recruiting consultations and blog content, our goal is to help demystify the recruiting process and life as a student-athlete.
